Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 August 2026

These terms apply whenever you buy a ticket through Tickets4Musicians, or use Tickets4Musicians to sell tickets for your own choir, orchestra or music group's event. Tickets4Musicians (tickets4musicians.co.uk) is run by Matt Finch, a self-employed musician, trading as Tickets4Musicians. By using this website, placing an order, or setting up an event through it, you agree to these terms.

1. Who you're buying from

Tickets4Musicians provides the booking software and payment processing that lets choirs, orchestras and other amateur music groups ("Organisers") sell tickets for their own events. When you buy a ticket, your contract for the event itself — admission, the performance, the venue, refunds for that event — is with the Organiser, not with Tickets4Musicians. Tickets4Musicians' role is to provide the platform, process the payment securely (via Stripe), and get your tickets to you.

2. Event information

Event details — dates, times, venue, prices, descriptions and images — are entered by the Organiser. Tickets4Musicians does not check or guarantee the accuracy of this information, though we do ask Organisers to keep listings up to date. If something looks wrong on an event page, the quickest fix is to contact the Organiser directly (their event page usually gives a way to do this) or get in touch with us and we'll help chase it up.

3. Buying tickets

You can search for events by name, location or date, choose the number and type of ticket you want, and check out with a debit or credit card, or by bank transfer where an Organiser offers it. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any card processing fee only if you actively choose to add it at checkout. An order is only confirmed once payment has gone through and you've received a confirmation email with your tickets attached or linked.

4. Your name and email address

We always need your name and email address to issue your tickets and send you a receipt, whether or not you choose to join an Organiser's mailing list. Where an event offers the option to join a mailing list, choosing "no" simply means you won't receive marketing emails from that Organiser — it does not affect your ticket, receipt, or any information we need to send about the event itself (such as changes or cancellations).

5. Delivery of tickets

Tickets are sent to the email address you provide at checkout, usually within a few minutes of payment. If they don't arrive, check your spam folder first, then use the "Find my tickets" page on this site to have them resent, or contact us.

6. Refunds and exchanges

Refunds for a specific event are handled by that event's Organiser, not by Tickets4Musicians directly — they have the tools to refund you straight back to your card. If you need a refund or want to change your booking, contact the Organiser using the details on the event page. We're happy to help you track down the right contact if you're not sure who that is.

7. Cancelled or postponed events

If an Organiser cancels or postpones an event, they are responsible for telling ticket holders and arranging refunds or transferring tickets to a new date, as applicable. Tickets4Musicians is not responsible for an Organiser's decision to cancel or postpone an event, but we'll always help pass on information where we can.

8. Unlawful resale

Tickets bought through Tickets4Musicians are for your own use or to give away free of charge. Reselling tickets for profit, or in a way that breaches the Organiser's own terms for the event, is not permitted, and Tickets4Musicians or the Organiser may cancel tickets bought or resold this way.

9. Data protection

We only collect the information needed to process your order, issue your tickets and (where you opt in) keep you updated about future events from that Organiser. We don't sell your details to third parties. Organisers can see the details of people who've booked their own events, since they need this to run the event and manage entry on the door.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the platform develops. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Queries and complaints

For anything to do with a specific event or refund, please contact the Organiser first. For anything about the platform itself — a technical problem, a billing question, or something you're not sure who to ask — get in touch via our Help page and we'll get back to you by email.

This page is provided as general information about how Tickets4Musicians works and does not constitute legal advice. If you're an Organiser with specific legal questions about your own events, we'd recommend checking with a solicitor.
